Here are two new versions of the classic patrol box, chuck box, camp kitchen: Troop 679 in Ramona California has created a set of complete plans and materials list for these improved Patrol Boxes. Scouter Hugh McVeigh in Germantown Tennessee has designed a handsome, functional variation called the Kamp Kitchen. He first built them with his sons (both Eagle Scouts) and has built around 100 to date including some for the 1993 National Jamboree.

Hugh has also designed a plywood camp chair that uses a third of a sheet of plywood, plans available by emailing Hugh.
