INTROJill Wilfing of Algonquin District introduces the podcast; opening joke about 'Canoeber' — an Uber-style canoe taxi app covering the Boundary Waters canoe area.▶ Listen

Hi, I'm Jill Wilfing, training chair of Algonquin District and the South Council, South Bend, Indiana. This is the Scoutmaster Podcast, sponsored by Backers Like Me.

And now it's the old Scoutmaster. Listener, Steven Cerulli, tells me that up in Ely, Minnesota, now right there in the Boundary Waters canoe area, you can get something called Canoeber. It's an Uber canoe, not a really big canoe, but kind of like a canoe taxi. There's an app and everything and it covers all of the Boundary Waters.

The next thing, I guess, is self-paddling canoes. I might be interested in that actually.

WELCOMEBill McFarlane's project carving every Whittlin' Jim neckerchief slide; Frank's positive feedback on last week's podcast; Dave's question about the leadership requirement for an Eagle Palm; live chat and backer acknowledgements including Jim Smith and Rob List.▶ Listen
