That does not look comfortable.
These sling style chairs are actually pretty comfortable and make a great pioneering project/camp gadget. They may not be the best for adults as they are not easy to get out of.
Every Scoutmaster must have a good chair to occupy. The Kermit Camping chair is one of my best pieces of gear. Packable, comfortable, and durable. Sort of spendy, but top notch craftsmanship.
