I don’t mind proper river sandals, open toed or not, for river crossings. Wet boots lead to smelly feet and blisters. A good sandal is fine for around camp as long as it’s sized properly.
The bottom piece about slippers appears to be missing the word ‘after’. I cringe at the picture of Crocs(r) there. It took me a long time to get a few of my Scouts to stop showing up in Crocs with the uniform to Scout events.
Crocs with the Scout uniform is fine by me – they are showing up right? Who cares what they wear on their feet?
