Two Patrol Boxes

Here are two new versions of the classic patrol box, chuck box, camp kitchen: Troop 679  in Ramona California has created a set of complete plans and materials list for these improved Patrol Boxes. The first page of the plans can be downloaded here. The complete 6 page set of plans are available for a small donation of $10 email plans@troop679.org for payment instructions (zip file with 6 PDF format files). Patrolbox01_1 Qmaster12_1 Yac02

Scouter Hugh McVeigh in Germnantown Tennessee has designed a handsome, functional variation called the Kamp Kitchen. He first built them with his sons (both Eagle Scouts) and has built around 100 to date including some for the 1993 National Jamboree. See more pictures and read about the project at Chuck Box Kitchen. Plans for the Kamp Kitchen are available for $20.00 by emailing Hugh Kamp_kitchen_003_1 Kamp_kitchen_017 Kamp_kitchen_019 Rangelinecreations2 Hugh has also designed a plywood camp chair that uses a third of a sheet of plywood, plans available by emailing Hugh. Check out these chuck boxes. I am still planning my ultimate field kitchen/patrol box. Here is a proposed  design. Do you have a design or system for patrol cooking gear? Let me know.
